FEBRURARY 23rd, 2010 tuesday

Yesterday afternoon it was snowing big flakes and in the single digits (about -8*C). This morning a different story. Lance's vehicle said -33*C and there was a noticable breeze when you headed SouthWest. Environment Canada for Swan River said -26*C (at 8a.m.) with a SW wind of 14km/hr. We had all the layers back on. No spring shell this time out. Winter is still give'n it to us. But, you know what........ the layers worked fine. No frost bite, no frozen lungs (a myth anway). We were comfortable running.

Seen some other tracks in the fresh snow along the highway. They were running tracks; the stride was longer than mine. I tried to match the footprints for a couple steps, just to see. But it was too big for me. Maybe Donnie? Maybe Tracy? Maybe Robbie? Maybe Moon Mullen? Barnes, maybe?
It could have been from last night?
Maybe Jolie? Maybe Angela?, Maybe Derek? Maybe Bob Davies? Davie Ketel, Donna Kopecky, Heather Hart, Jeffinfer Smith, Jodi Gardy, Lorri-Ann Munro, Louise Oberton, Mike Yablonski, Nancy McDonald, Patti, Peter Tokar, Vern, Keith Immerakr?
Who was running along the highway across from Timmys? Bill Clark?, Glen Mckenzie, Erwin Densichuk, Della McKay? Maureen Owens?

It's getting closer to spring and so it could be any one of us out there.

Keep give'n'er,
(and keep your stick on the ice Team Canada)

It's going to be a better temp on Thursday morning, February 25th. Get out there and make some tracks. Start 'er up.

Hello,

No it wasn't me. Cold our way too. Beautiful sun though. Today the sun broke through before I reached my office. Longer days indeed!
