MARCH 9th - tuesday morning

+2*C at 5:15a.m. Not bad eh? I was out a bit earlier than usual this morning. I got to the arena at 25 to 6a.m. and back in at about 10 after.

A good run this morning. No speed records broken, just a nice easy pace. There was no ice or snow or mulch to run on this morning. The asphalt was damp but bare - good footing.

A bit of a drizzle/snow falling. I wore less clothing. A long sleeve base layer, t-shirt and shell. Felt good to shed some of the -20*C clothing.

This time of year, you never know what we're going to get for weather. So we can expect anything. As soon as we get over the worst of the wet stuff, I'm going to purchase a new set of runners. They don't last forever. I dedicate the new runners to running only and that way they last longer. The ones I'm running in now will be moved to the everyday slot. Works good and happens every year.
