No shorts and t-shirts this morning; -3*C and a bit of a breeze out of the SW. But still... had a good run this morning. We were dressed for it. We weren't too hot nor too cold.
Did a 5 mile run (right on the nose) with Lance this morning. Right in Town under the street lights. Started at 5:30a.m. and it took us about 50 minutes - so about a 10 minute mile. Felt good, talked as we ran, very relaxed.
We need a BREAKFAST RUN. Saturday morning. Run at 9a.m. and breakfast at 10a.m. Thinking either the 4th or the 11th of December. Start at the Westwood Inn, run 5k and back for breakfast. It would be a chance for runners to "get out there" in the daylight and have a run together and then back for breakfast. Bacon and Eggs, toast, pancakes, juice, yogrut, cottage cheese, hot coffee, peanutbutter, butter, catchup, porridge, more coffee, water, another glass of juice,....... you name it. You order it, you pay for it.
So what do you think? Are we up for that? If I get some feedback here from enough people, I'll go see Frank and we'll set a date either Saturday, December 4th or Saturday December 11th.

Hi Garry,
I just came back from a run in Brandon this weekend, "First Annual Blue Hills Of Brandon Trail Running Race". It was awesome! It was a cross country trail through the bush with ALOT of hills. You could sign up for a 5k, 7.5k, 10k or 15k. My daughter and I did the 5k and came in 3rd and 4th place out of 16 runners in that category (time was 32:53). We had a great time and would recommend this run to everyone!

hi... BACK IN CANADA.. HAD A GREAT TIME AT THE TRI IN TEXAS.. COMPLETED IN 1:24.54...HAD A GOOD SWIM, GREAT BIKE, BUT MY CALVES TIGHTENED UP ON MY RUN, FINISHING WAS MY GOAL..LOL... NEXT TIME i WILL HAVE A BANANA IN THE TRANSITION AREA...WOULD HAVE MADE A HUGE DIFFERNECE...
