December 16th, 2010 Thursday
Young Runners at the registration desk at the 10K Rodeo Run July 2010
We counterclockwised the Jack Brown at 7:30p.m. thursday evening.
A cold night but not bad. Dressed warm.
Good footing and lots of light. Angela and Patty Church were there. Good to see you out ladies - way to go. Off the couch, that's the ticket. Round and round that Jack Brown we went. It is such a big circle, that you don't even know your doing a curcuit. Lights on at 20 after 7 and off at 8:14p.m. (pushing it a bit - supose to be off at 8p.m. - cheating). I wanted to get 25 laps in (5 miles) and so I was in ot for a bit.
That's it for the blog until next year. Sometime in the early part of January we'll fire back up.
To all you runners/walkers out there, young and old: "Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year."
Treat yourself to a Christmas present and a New Year's Resolution - go for a run. You can do it outside in all weather.
Keep give'en 'er,
GK

Have a great holiday season Garry, we'll see you around I'm sure. I was out this morning (friday) and all was good other than some of the streets are very mulchy which makes it a little more difficult.
Tuesday and Thursday are my nites at the rink with the kids so the evening run isnt going to work for me unfortunatley.
