friday the 12th of February

from PlaP

10:30a.m just finished a run with Maureen to the bridge and back. Nice morning. -8*C and calm and overcast. Lots of snow down here in town but the streets and walkways are ploughed out very well. We had very good footing on our run. Parent/Teacher's day here today. Teachers at work but the kids off.

I was down at the rink last night with Calli and Erin as they had ringett. At the same time the Terriers were hosting Steinbach. Steinbach had them 3 nothing after the first period. Swan will be here tomorrow night, unfortunately, I am going to be in Winnipge. I like wearing the Stampeders hat and jacket, etc. at the rink in Portage. You can see the daggers looking at you. Big game coming up here for the stamps. They are going to do it.

I'm glad I got my run in as I missed yesterday. Who was out yesterday morning? Tracy? Lance? I'll bet Tracy was out but not Lance. Eh? Lance has been batteling a hell of a cold, congetsion, can't breath, stuffed up deal. Sometimes those bugs get a dam good grip on you.

It's so nice when the temp is in the single digits. And we are going to be getting more and more of that. We had a nice easy pace going this morning. We talked and visited all along the route. That's nice. It's relaxing, easy pace and enjoyable.

Keep give'n'er,
gk

Hey Garry, I actually made it out! It was good to get back in the routine, but I sure noticed my endurance has tapered off a little. Even my legs were a little wobbly after, but that's what 2 1/2 weeks off will do to you I guess.

Have a great weekend, see you next week.
