A hot one. I ran at 11a.m. around the old By-pass. I was pretty warm when I came in. I've been swimming in the mornings now every day and so it's bumped my running schedule up. The heat felt good. I had drank lots of water and didn't need to take any while doing that 4 miles but...... I sure would of needed some if I would have gone further. Shorts, Tee-shirt, runners. That's a long way from all the garb we have to put on in February.
We've sort of all slipped into individual running for the summer it seems. However, we will probably get back at the arena come fall. Angela is still give'n'er before 6a.m. and then she hits the pool.
Julie Poole is interested in running and is added to the e-mail contact list.
This Sunday is the Manitoba Marathon. Today they are calling for 26*C and some sun for the 20th of June. We'll see - I guess we'll get what we get. If it's that warm, we'll need to make sure and take on some water while running. The Manitoba Marathon has very good water stations and tons of volunteer help. I've got one more 4 mile tempo run planned for Thursday morning sometime and then we're off the peg about noonish.
Keep give'n'er,
audios muchachos,
