Hey!
Got a run in this morning. Did the Poplar Avenue route. Met Lance coming back in on 83 as I was going out. He had already done the old by-pass as well. He's been give'n'er. Lance and Barnes met yesterday on Tuesday morning.
I haven't been too regular with my running. Swimming has taken the slot in the mornings and for some reason, that's the time of day I most like to run - early morning. It just feels right for me. And so it's run or swim. I've tried both together (like Angela is doing) but then I don't get that good of a swim in. So, that's my storey.
Still, it's nice to see other runners out and about. And there are many. If you make the Arena part of your loop - start, middle or finsih, chances are, you'll see another runner. Maybe even a running partner.
Don't forget our 5k/10k run coming up on Friday, July 30th. It will be a good one again. Watch the paper for a couple adds coming up. Shot gun start at 7:30a.m. "Boom" - we're off and running. Spread the word, bring a friend.
Sun this morning. You know, that yellow thing up in the sky. Not so many birds signing now like in the spring/early summer. But, I heard frogs singing as I ran thru the indutrial park. It's so wet in there. Frogs are like early spring things but I guess with so much rain.
We'll take it. All seasons.
Keep give'n'er,
gk

Hi.. ran this morning, then di dmy swim, then biked in for work (10k) almost my complete tri in mixed up order...are the routes decided for the run on the 30th? would like to run it a few times. angela
Been trying to get out 2 - 3 times a week but sometimes its random days. I actually ran the poplar route in reverse this morning - something different. There was a mother Deer staring me down as I entered the industrial park this morning, she was stomping her rear legs as she watched me coming about 50 feet away or so. She must have has a fawn laying in the grass nearby.....she sort of had me looking back for a little bit because they can be very protective.
Have a good one,
Lance
