The run never happened. A pretty cold day, like -19*C and a strong Wind out of the North East.

Keith Immerkar was there. And,I missed him. I went to the rink at 25 to 3 and waited aound until 5 to 3. I just got in the door at home and Karen said Keith phoned and was at the rink looking for me. I quickly went back to the rink but missed Keith. Sorry Keith! I decided I might as well get a run in and so I did the 4.7k loop. Actually, I did over 5 clicks as I ran back and forth on the Ag path between missing Keith.

But it was a pretty crule day with that wind and that is what we didn't want. We just missed some good weather by a couple days. Like -4*C just two days before that.
Maybe next February eh?

Sorry about that Keith. I should have stayed at the rink right up until 3. While I was at the rink I talked to Chirstine from the Star & Times. She was asking about the run; she was also covering the minor hockey tournament.

But you know what........ even tho it was cold and windy, I dressed for it and was easily & comfortabley able to run. I just had a slit for my eyes and faced head into the wind on Valley Road like a piece of cake.

It's like any other sport outside in the winter time. Skidooing for instance, you dress accoudingly and you can do it.

We'll try Tuesday the 9th of February, see how that goes. More daylight now.
