Went out this morning at 5:30a.m. and did the Poplar Ave. route. I never planned on it but I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. I got up and went for a run. That did it: no sleeping after that.
Met Morley waking to work. He said his thermometer said -10*C. There was a pretty good hit of frost alright. The gravel road section on Poplar and part of 3rd Ave. S. in the industrial park were firm with frost. No wet clay/gravel. The footing was good.
Even tho the moon was partially obstructed behind high thin clouds, there still was moonlight getting thru. In the "no-street-light zones" you could still see your shadow from the light from the moon.

if your looking for a good weekend run, try the golf coarse. the golfers are done and its nice to see all the work that has been done. A litle damp on the very east side but not to bad.
Sounds pretty good. Will have to get out that way before the snow gets too deep. Good one Barnes.
