Nov. 4th, 2010 - THURSDAY today

Ran for 52 minutes this morning. Went over the bridge and did a loop in Duncan Crescent. Then 4th to Reich's, Valley Raod, Minish's, SR Dr., Ross, 9th and arena path.

The Big Dipper. It's handle is pointing straight down. Lots of bright stars this morning. I seen a falling star as I ran on Reich's road going East. There are no street lights in there and it's pretty black. One advantage of running in the black is that you may see a falling star. There are obvious disadvantages too - like you can't see your footing. Kinda fumbly at times. When there is white snow on the ground and the moon is out - no problem for light.

It was a hard run for me this morning. I felt like I was "plodding along". That's the best word I can think of that describes how I felt. I didn't have an easy light/soft foot. It seemed to land hard and pound. Some days are better than others I guess. I kept thinking this morning that I would loosen up after I fully warmed up and I'd hit my stride. But, that never happpened - I kept "plodding along" right to the end down the Agricultural Grounds Pathway.

See how the next outing goes - better I bet.

Keep give'n 'er, A month from today is December 4th, Saturday, our Breakfast Run from the WWInn at 9a.m. Get your Christmas lites up now so that you don't have to do that on the morning of our run. Please let me know if you can make it; it would be good if you can; the more the merryier. A Saturday morning Group run - then breakfast. Should be good.
